
TERMS & CONDITIONS
By hiring one of our floats or trailers you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions in full:

Our responsibility – to provide a safe, well maintained, road worthy horse float or trailer

Your responsibility – to ensure the float/trailer is hooked up to your vehicle correctly; that you meet legal towing weight restrictions for your license class; that your horse or product is transported in a safe, sensible manner; and to contact us immediately should an issue arise

Customers must supply full contact details (phone number, email and address) along with a copy of their current full driver’s licence. All possible drivers must provide this information.

All bookings require a $20 non-refundable deposit must be made into our account to secure your date.

Hire must be paid in full into our bank account prior to collection or cash upon collection.

In the event of a cancellation a refund will be made in the same method as initially paid minus the $20 non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations made over 48 hours from the booking commencement can be transferred in full to a future available date minus the $20 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours of booking date are non-refundable.

Floats/trailers must be returned clean – a $50 cleaning charge applies when not. This is also an optional extra if you do not want to clean it yourself

In the event of a late return (into the following day), the customer is responsible for any additional hire fees occurred. Should the late return mean another customer is unable to collect the float/trailer, then the customer will be responsible for paying the total value of the lost hire in full

In the event of damage caused to the float/trailer by a previous customer means a float/trailer is no longer available for your booking, Ararimu Float & Trailer Hire will offer you an alternative float/trailer at the same price as your original booking. If an alternative is not available, Ararimu Float & Trailer Hire will refund your booking in full (including deposit) in the same method as originally paid. Lost entry fees or other costs will not be reimbursed.

The customer is responsible for all damage. A $1000 insurance excess applies for any damage that occurs while the float/trailer is under your care. Should the repair be less than the excess we will invoice you for the applicable amount. Drivers using international licences may incur an additional excess charge. Normal wear and tear does not apply.

In the case of theft, the customer is responsible for the replacement value of the float/trailer in full.
